Annual Township Election and Meeting
Please note the following information related to the election and annual meeting for 2021.Election
- Mail in voting begins on Friday, February 5th. To request a ballot, please send an email to the town clerk at rochestertownshipclerk@gmail.com. Please include your name and mailing address to receive a ballot. The last day to request a ballot is Monday, March 8th.
- Residents may vote in person on Saturday, March 6th at the town hall between the hours of 10:00 am and 12:00 noon.
- Residents may also vote in person on Tuesday, March 9th between the hours of 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm.
- A sample ballot may be viewed by clicking this link. Please DO NOT print and submit the sample ballot. Only ballots officially issued may be used.
- The Board of Canvass will convene immediately following the closing of the polls to validate the election results.
- The annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 9th at the Rochester town hall beginning at 8:15 pm.
- The meeting will be held in the garage area due to ongoing construction as well as a means to ensure proper social distancing.
- Masks will be required for attendees. Masks will be provided for those that need one.
- Alternately, residents may join the meeting via telephone. Dial (978) 990-5000. When prompted for an access code, enter 253635.
- In case of inclement weather, the alternate date for the election and annual meeting will be Tuesday, March 16th. The same meeting location and time will apply.
