Rochester Township Annual Meeting & Election
The Citizens of the Township of Rochester, County of Olmsted, State of Minnesota who are qualified to vote at General Elections, are hereby notified that the Annual Township Election and Meeting will be held at the Rochester Town Hall, located at 4111 11th Avenue SW, Rochester, MN, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, for the purpose of electing two Township Supervisors for a 3-year term. Election hours will be 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on said day.The annual meeting will be held on this same date at the same location at 8:15 P.M. An Absentee Ballot may be obtained by calling 507-282-6488 or emailing the clerk at rochestertownshipclerk@gmail.com. Early voting is also available on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 10:00 A.M. until Noon at the town hall. The tax levy for the 2024 year and the general business of the Town will be discussed at the annual meeting. The Board of Canvass will convene immediately following the closing of the polls. In case of inclement weather, the meeting and election may be postponed until the third Tuesday in March (March 21, 2023) and held at the same time and location.
