Township Road Projects 2022
Each year, the Rochester Township Board tours all of the roadways within the township to determine which roads require work and the type of work. Maintenance can include repairs such as crack filling, chip sealing or a more extensive roadway reclamation. The goal is to maintain township roads in good repair and within budget constraints.
The projects for 2022 include the following:
- Add a wear layer of asphalt to Weather Hill Court SW, Weatherhill Ridge Court SW, Meadowlark Court SW, Quarve Road SE and Boulder Creek Drive SW.
- Perform crack filling or chip seal to Arrowhead Lane SW, Hamlet Road SW, Partridge Drive SW, Meadow Crossing Road SW from county road 8 to Mayo Woodlands Road and Mayo Woodlands Road SW to Glenwood Road SW.
- Perform road reclamation on Hardwood Court SW and the entirety of Transit Court SW.
The timing for road projects is weather dependent. Note that even if a road in your immediate area is not being worked on this year please be aware of construction occurring in other parts of the township and travel accordingly.
