MEETING MINUTES

Thursday, September 8, 2011 Board Minutes

Members Present: Gary Donovan, Jeff Orth, Brenda Dicken, Douglas Butler, and Gary Swenson. Members Absent: Brian Mueller, Lenny Laures

Guests: Bruce Borgerding, Mike Reiland, Art Reckinger, and Val Coe

Gary Donovan called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.

Minutes – Jeff Orth made a motion to approve the revised August 11, 2011 minutes. Brenda Dicken seconded the motion; it was voted on and passed.

Maintenance on 31st Avenue – Mike said the area is seeded and now the area is pretty much done.

SWPP Annual Report – Brenda reported she didn’t hear anything back this month.

Road Report – Mike reported mowing started this week. Just got the tractor back it had an electrical problem which ended up being the battery. Brenda said that she wasn’t happy with the delay on shouldering in her sub-division. Jeff said he would meet with Lenny and that a look at the shouldering work.

Homer Tompkins Legal Deposit – Jeff made a motion to reimburse Homer Tompkins for the $7,598.81 of unused legal expenses. He had on deposit with the town $15,000 for anticipated legal costs associated with Meadow Crossing Road and the developement on the river. Doug Butler seconded the motion; if was voted on and passed.

Deputy Val Coe – Deputy Coe updated the board on activities this past month.

Treasurer’s Report – Brenda Dicken made a motion to approve the Treasurer’s report. Douglas Butler seconded the motion; it was voted on and passed.
 

TREASURER's REPORT

RT Claims – Jeff Orth made a motion to approve the RT claims # 2016-2025 for $38,845.36. Brenda Dicken seconded the motion; it was voted on and passed.

JPB Claims – Jeff Orth made a motion to approve the JPB checks – 3364 – 3391 for $15,628.02. Brenda Dicken seconded the motion; it was voted on and passed.

Board of Adjustment – No meeting

Planning and Zoning - ROW Ordinance has been completed and in final draft. It should be presented at our next meeting.

Speed Limit Changes – Art Reckinger handed out copies of changes in posting speed limits and definition of what complies as a neighborhood.

TCPA – No Meeting.

Review of Picnic – The picnic was a success and we received a couple of thank yous.

Douglas Butler made a motion that we approved the law enforcement contract Brenda Dicken seconded it.

Jeff Orth made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 9:25 PM. Brenda Dicken seconded the motion; it was voted on and passed.
